We are excited about our 2024 Conference. Get ready to be inspired and empowered by a day filled with uplifting messages, engaging workshops, and meaningful connections.
Don't delay, last year we sold out!
Sistahs in the Word had their first meeting on Monday, September 15, 2008. There were 8 in attendance as we studied James 4:11. Our monthly meetings were more of a time
for the ladies to discuss their trials and issues as we searched the Bible for scriptures that addressed each matter.
After several years our meeting changed as we added new members to reading and studying the Word from the beginning to the end.
September 2018, the group celebrated its 10th anniversary, with their 1st conference. Rev. Najuma Smith Pollard was the guest speaker, Rev. Cozette Jackson, and Prophetess Karen
Gauff facilitated the workshops.
We are currently studying in the book of Numbers. Our discussions are powerful. We experience life together, unselfish loving, honest sharing, practical serving, sympathetic comfort, and other “one another” commands found in the New Testament.
Our meetings are held on Monday evenings via Zoom. We break after our conferences until January.
Our mission is to enlighten each other with spiritual wisdom and understanding; to grow in the face and knowledge of God; empower each other to be successful, and to encourage one
another with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is: to empower women internally for their external work; “When women
support each other incredible things can happen."
The principles of the group are:
1. Confidentiality is expected and required of each member
2. To participate at least 80%; attending meetings and assisting with our conferences
